people, today I’m going to show you how you can unlock some hidden themes in
Windows 7. There are some themes other than the ones you normally see in the
‘personalize’. You have to unlock them if you want to use them. Here’s how
you do it…
Go to your
Start menu and click on computer (My Computer) and go to the drive where your
Windows OS is installed.
Click on
‘Organize’ on the top left corner of the window and click on ‘Folder and search
options’. Then go to the View tab and make sure that ‘Show hidden files,
folders and drives’ is selected. Then click ‘Apply’ and ‘Ok’.
Now you will
have to navigate to a folder. So, go to the address bar and type in
\Windows\globalization\MCT
The folders
in there are the themes that you can activate. These themes represent different
countries. To activate them, open any theme folder and open the folder called
‘Themes’. And double click the file you see.
Now you have
activated and applied the theme. Do the same with all 5 and all of them will be
available in ‘Personalize’ like other normal themes and you won’t have to
navigate to the folder again.
